The BEARS Region provides administrative Human Resources and Academic Personnel Support (HR/APS) to the Berkeley campus, including support for hiring, appointments, separations, classifications and compensation, and performance management transactions. Our BEARS HR professionals strive to process status changes expediently.

Human Resource Business Partners and Senior Human Resources Partners assist our campus clients with Employee and Labor Relations matters (in partnership with People & Culture), strategic planning and reorganizations, accommodations as required under ADA, performance management, layoffs, recruitments, and general management advice. Consultation can be initiated by calling your designated HR Partner (see list below) or by submitting a request in the new HR Service Hub

- Go to the new HR Service Hub to submit a service request, ask a question, or report a problem to your BEARS HR Team.
- Want to check on an existing request/ticket? Use this link to go to the Service at UC Berkeley webpage (ServiceNow). You can review all your HR requests (and IT requests too). Note: ServiceNow works best in Google Chrome.
- The UCPath Online Portal provides self-service access to paystubs, benefits, update personal information, retirement and more.
