As part of the BEARS Region commitment to focus on their staff, they will continue to recognize staff for exemplary behaviors and reward them for outstanding performance and dedication to their clients, campus partners, and to each other.
Here are some ways to recognize BEARS staff who embody the Berkeley Operating Principles:
- The High Fives Program - For staff who go above and beyond to provide service. High Fives nominations will be reviewed by the BEARS High Fives Committee and recipients will receive a $25 Amazon Gift Card.
- SPOT Awards - To recognize a BEARS staff member for a larger achievement, consider nominating them for a SPOT Award as part of Berkeley's Staff Appreciation and Recognition (STAR) Awards Program. All BEARS nominations will be carefully reviewed to determine eligibility.
- The current SPOT Award nomination period ends May 6th, 2024. Submit your completed and signed nomination form to: bears_region_spot_awards@berkeley.edu.
